The Karumo bracelet is a five-link system inspired by Karuta gote—the armored sleeves worn by samurai in the late Muromachi period. Blending Karuta with Mō (盂) to evoke continuous flow, its form references protection while resting on the skin with an organic softness. It tapers from 20mm to 18mm, culminating in a compact clasp embossed with “ひとり.” The five-link architecture features a striking bilux layout: alternating brushed and mirror-polished surfaces that create a rhythmic interplay of light and shadow, while petite screw-down links eliminate the need for a bulky micro-adjust slider.
Crafted with precision, each link measures 2.6mm thick and 6.3mm long, with precise slopes that accentuate the contrasting finishes. Specially designed end-links introduce negative space into the silhouette, giving the bracelet a commanding presence that feels completely weightless. The screwed links receive the exact same finishing as the watch case, allowing the bilux artistry to reveal itself with movement. Fastening with a secure, intuitive snap, the Karumo balances structural strength with poetic grace—a design of sophisticated assurance.
