Hitori’s introduction of a DLC version for the Meguro GMT reflects a thoughtful blend of form and function. The matte black Diamond Like Carbon coating brings a sleek, contemporary edge to the watch while significantly enhancing durability. Known for its exceptional hardness and scratch resistance, DLC ensures the case maintains its crisp silhouette and refined character through years of wear. This stealthy finish also creates a striking contrast, allowing the dial to take center stage and serving as a true nod to Hitori’s commitment to enduring craftsmanship with a modern sensibility.
Limited to just 15 pieces, this special edition embodies the quiet beauty of Meguro’s night sky. At its core is a captivating aventurine dial, formed from molten glass infused with flakes of copper oxide and elements like cobalt. The result is a deep, shimmering surface that twinkles like a blanket of stars, capturing the peaceful elegance of a starlit evening and offering collectors a poetic connection to nature through refined watchmaking.

At the beginning of 2025, the Meguro collection welcomed two truly special additions, each distinguished by a double-signed dial that bridges horology with traditional Japanese artistry. The pink version is limited to 60 pieces, while the sleek black edition is even more exclusive, limited to just 50 pieces. At the heart of the design is a captivating tiger painting created by a fellow collector—an original work inspired by traditional tiger imagery from the early Tokugawa period. Symbolizing strength and courage, the tiger also serves as a guardian figure believed to ward off misfortune, evil spirits, and illness. Intricately detailed with lifelike striping and expressive color, the collector’s tiger painting brings dynamic energy to the dial, while the elegant brushstroke inscription of the word “Meguro” adds harmony and visual balance.
True to its bold and thoughtful approach, Hitori took this release a step further by collaborating with this collector from within its own circle, inviting him to “sign” the Meguro dial with his unique tiger artwork. This collaboration, steeped in shared passion and cultural heritage, resulted in two distinct versions: one in a vibrant, traditional pink color scheme and the other in a sleek, modern black finish.

The all new Meguro GMT “Pale Planet” edition exquisitely embodies Hitori’s mastery of enamel artistry, brought to life through the surreal and evocative vision of Kolahon. Limited to a mere 55 pieces, this exceptional timepiece seamlessly marries the serenity of nature with refined urban sophistication, making it the perfect companion for the discerning traveler.
For this distinguished edition, we were honored to collaborate with Thai artist Kolahon, whose name means ‘chaos’ in Thai. His art delves deeply into themes of disorder and harmony, capturing the delicate balance between turmoil and tranquility through symbolic motifs and captivating character designs. The watch’s dial unveils a whimsical tableau that reflects Kolahon’s profound reverence for the sun melting into the sea, painting the twilight sky in a cascade of vibrant, mesmerizing hues. Ethereal golden pathways meander through this dreamlike cosmos, accompanied by playful planets that evoke a boundless sense of mystery and infinity. The striking contrast between the gentle rabbit and its enchanting celestial backdrop invites the wearer into an immersive, otherworldly journey. Kolahon’s artwork is meticulously 3D printed onto the enamel dial, which is then perfected by Hitori’s master craftsmen through a painstaking multi-stage process. The result is a harmonious fusion of artistic brilliance, cultural depth, and horological excellence.

Following the successful debut of the Ryukyu Diver, Hitori proudly introduced its second collection—the Habuka Collection. To celebrate the momentum and positive reception, Hitori unveiled the Habuka 39 Deluxe Special, a splendid limited edition of 100 pieces that brings notable upgrades and refined details. At the heart of this release is a deep ocean blue dial, rich in tone and paired with a gilt second hand that adds a touch of understated elegance. The addition of a redesigned chapter ring enhances the dial presence, giving the watch a more dynamic and luxurious appeal.
This striking release draws inspiration from the original Habuka 39 Snow White, a nostalgic timepiece that redefined classic styling with a distinctly Japanese twist. Proudly made in Asia, the Habuka 39 Deluxe Special continues that legacy with a versatile design that subtly reflects the serene snow-covered peaks of Japan’s alpine landscape. The name "Habuka" is a playful take on Hakuba, a scenic village nestled in the Japanese Alps just outside Nagano, famed for its winter sports and mountain resorts. This watch is a tribute to that quiet majesty, combining storytelling, regional charm, and Hitori’s refined craftsmanship in one limited creation.
